If you are a loooong-time reader of DataBreaches.net, you will likely recall a terrible insider breach in Canada that I reported in 2011 where, as a result of the insider wrongdoing, 13 people became victims of arson or were shot at!

There is now an update on the litigation stemming from that case.

The fire chief in Harrisburg, where Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro's residence is located, has described the firebombing as a "domestic terrorism incident." The man suspected of starting the fire, Cody Balmer, was denied bail at his arraignment today. He had previously expressed disdain for Democrats on social media — sources said his complaints were primarily related to financial issues. After turning himself in, Balmer allegedly told police he would have attacked Shapiro with the hammer he used to break a window at the governor's mansion. Here's more from @abc.
