smallsolar<p>After loads of research I found reference to if you erase the emmc then it should drop down to try and boot from SD or USB, using `store init 2` I managed to erase the emmc and then through a weird combination of the usb stick and SD card managed to chain load newer u-boot and voila <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/armbian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>armbian</span></a> booted! </p><p>It seems like you need both to actually boot, tried to only do one and it didn't work.</p><p>7/n</p>

Koen Martens<p>Finally, the missing puzzle piece of my hetzner exit plan, the off-site backups of my home office, sorted out. Looked at cloud hosting, looked at colocation, but in the end settled on an Odroid HC4 with two 8TB spinning rust drives running armbian. Using syncoid to transfer encrypted zfs datasets to it.
