That software makes a zillion calls to the ArcGIS server in order to do anything. Think 'bloatware'.</p><p>Below is a link to the 'lightweight' Leaflet web map I produce that displays the same data - in this case, all the weather watches and warnings.</p><p>Open the map, click colored area, follow the link. Since the spot you clicked might have more than one type of weather watch/warning, scroll down in the popup since each type of watch or warning has its own link for the details. </p><p>At the risk of tooting my own horn, GISsurfer has lots of features that are not apparent just by looking at the map.
