That software makes a zillion calls to the ArcGIS server in order to do anything. Think 'bloatware'.</p><p>Below is a link to the 'lightweight' Leaflet web map I produce that displays the same data - in this case, all the weather watches and warnings.</p><p>Open the map, click colored area, follow the link. Since the spot you clicked might have more than one type of weather watch/warning, scroll down in the popup since each type of watch or warning has its own link for the details. </p><p>At the risk of tooting my own horn, GISsurfer has lots of features that are not apparent just by looking at the map. Joseph Elfelt<p>Need spatial data?</p><p>The list of ArcGIS server addresses that I curate now has over 4,000 addresses for ArcGIS servers at all levels of USA government, from federal to local.</p><p>Last fall, Jonathan at <a href="https://www.geoseer.net/" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="">geoseer.net/</span><span class="invisible"></span></a> (spatial data search tool) sent me a massive list of ArcGIS server addresses that have been detected by their scanning methods. I finally had a chance to process that information and added *many* ArcGIS server addresses to the list I curate. Ive confirmed from 2 colleagues. They're going after contractors first, since we have mostly no protections.</p><p>I've been looking since Nov 6, but now things are getting down to the wire. </p><p>I'm a senior cloud systems engineer. Current is administering/developing <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/ArcGIS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ArcGIS</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/GIS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GIS</span></a> . Previously was systems engineer with greenfielding and putting together multiple ATO's.
