whipping up a small #alttext when you're posting an image or video isn't that hard. It's not a big deal, takes less than a minute, and for this little effort, you help a bunch of other people to read your post.
honestly, i can't think of a single good reason why you wouldn't just do it. or am i missing something here?

A warm day yesterday but a chilly night, and just three #moth visitors which was rather disappointing numerically, though all three were first sightings in 2025. Hopefully some warmer nights this week will help numbers. Three to stimulate your intellectualities today are:

Violets are so ubiquitous here that I often don't photograph/notice them. I need to remedy that because they are cute little plants w/ lovely flowers/foliage. Been finding marvelous little volunteer violets out back so I'm transplanting some into the more formal garden.
