@rysiek @whvholst Yeah, I haven't owned a "TV" in years. Dumb monitors and projectors plugged into computers and if you really must have actual TV-signals then set-top-box.

No need for TVs at all any more. Especially "smart" ones.

@whvholst @rysiek there is such thing as "digital signage displays" — huge screens, with high max brightness level, rated for (tens?) of thousands of hours, with the smartest feature being an HDMI port. Main downside, though, is the price, to the tune of 3-5-10x the price of a consumer screen of comparable size.
