@whvholst Adrian Dittman (aka Elon Musk's sock puppet) tweeted a video of a rocket launch in a QT to Elon's post:

"Please post a bit more positive, beautiful or informative content on this platform"

@skry

I think the photo of the rocket is a reply (quote tweet) to the Elon Musk post.

@whvholst

@skry

Also:

"Adrian Dittman" is widely believed to be a pseudonym used by Elon Musk.

The rocket is a SpaceX ~~Starship~~ Falcon 9.

@whvholst

@swope @skry No, the rocket is a Falcon 9, but the whole point was that @pluralistic might start having alt-text in the pictures he posts.

@whvholst

Right, Falcon 9.

Agreed on the need for alt-text, too.

@skry @pluralistic

@pluralistic

Congratulations on adding some alt-text. I would recommend making it a description of what's in the image.

@whvholst @skry

@swope @whvholst @skry@mastodon.socia dude.

I sent you a screenshot of an image I posted with a description of its contents. The alt text for the screenshot then went on to describe the substantive reason for its existence.

But by all means, keep scolding strangers for failing to comport themselves to your standards. You're sure to accomplish your goals that way.

@whvholst @swope Perhaps you meant @bruces, since @pluralistic wasn't in this thread until you called him out.

@skry

Yeah, that was very confusing. I should have paid closer attention that @whvholst mentioned someone else out of the blue.

I guess there's some history with that person on the topic of alt-text?
