OK so I just got off a call with the DPC - the strategy has worked, it has been noticed and they are investigating.
They have received a *lot* of complaints since I went public with mine yesterday which is starting to overwhelm their backlog.
So I am now politely asking if people can pause on sending in further complaints until mid next week to give them a chance to try to resolve this issue.
I can say it was a very positive discussion and of course I cannot force you not to file a complaint.
And I cannot disclose specifics of the conversation as it was from their investigations team not the press office.
That said - I have every confidence that there will be movement on this early next week - so in order to help that, it would be useful to pause the complaints for now.
There was no disagreement on the legal interpretation so let's see what happens.
