It is encouraging to see that Google's monopoly power is being challenged in a second antitrust case within a few weeks. Authorities around the world are increasingly taking action against monopoly power. Breaking up Big Tech would be the right step to limit their power and stop the damage to the public, democracy and consumers.

Lets hope it is the beginning of the end for the big tech era, perhaps this is a side effect of getting more and more people online is that they learn how to 'google' information. They are told google is good, then find articles to the contrary and dig deeper and find google is actually not as good, and find alternatives.

People are aware of their GDPR rights, then learn about how their data and IP (e.g photos, text etc) are being used to train AI, how they are giving consent but not giving consent as we have to sign up to T&C to use their services, so give consent via a back door.
