Some madness: A Danish opinion polling company (Megafon) has sent warning letters and even claims for compensation to researchers, news media and bloggers to stop them from using its published election polls for "infringing" use such as calculating weighted averages with other polls. The claim is based on the legal protection in the EU Database Directive 96/9/EC. (in Danish)
