It looks like is using salami tactics with the @EU_Commission on compliance, giving up tiny slices in hope that might sway (and shut up) the regulator and the public.

I sincerely hope the Commission's enforcement team is not being fooled by this.

Politico headline and first paragraph of article: "Apple yields to pressure to offer EU web app downloads" Apple has yielded to pressure again to open up its services to smaller competitors, this time by allowing downloads of apps directly from a company’s website. It's the second time it's tweaked its plan to comply with the European Union’s Digital Markets Act, (DMA) which forces Big Tech firms to give some ground to smaller developers. Last week it also made small changes to how developers could use the new options.
