Today friends from the @citizenlab publish updated information on their analysis of how #Paragon’s graphite hacking tool operates. We will dive into the details. In the meantime, this is a good opportunity for us to point out that in the EU, journalists are not just hacked in Italy. We are also directly in touch with organisations defending journalists hacked by states in France and in Hungary, looking for legal ways to seek accountability.

This report includes an infrastructure analysis of Paragon’s spyware product, called Graphite; a forensic analysis of infected devices belonging to members of civil society; and a closer look at the use of Paragon spyware in both Canada and Italy.
