Professors of European Studies stop talking about the #EU like it's the equivalent of "eating your veggies" challenge.
Should we maybe ask Ukrainians or Georgian youngsters in Tbilisi to comment on your struggle?
<- @Veza85UE , I like your rage :-)
I am saying this not the first time: Let us find (or create!) something for yours and mine cooperation.
I am not completely happy with Jules Eisenchteter's article. I found @tomas_weiss .
Let us do something together.
Have a look at https://trojkatretiho.cz . For example, in my latest post, there are some proposal what we should do about the Confusion of languages - #BabelEU : https://trojkatretiho.cz/viewtopic.php?p=603#p603 .

Oh, that's more *sigh* disappointed-but-not-surprised weary eye-rolling rather than rage.
I'm not surprised that the article isn't all that great for someone living there. To an outsider like me it seemed to fill a knowledge gap and I still think the learning curve for politicians as the EU gets ever more important for our lives is a valid point. And it's applicable to all EU countries, not just the Czechs.
<- As I am trying to learn about the Union (and express myself) I am finding a strange discrepancy between
first
the number of people and institutions and projects, and the volume of matterials produced and
second
the general knowledge of the Union...

@abolitionniste While I don't doubt that the majority of the people who produce the content are well-intentioned and others maybe just shielded from too much contact with normie world, I think for our national governments keeping Europeans in the dark about how the EU actually works (and the ways in which it doesn't) is a feature, not a bug.

I have some doubts about this bit (eh, I wouldn't say PiS or Slovenia under Jansa sent a higher calibre of politician to EU institutions, though it's true that in some countries the good ones took refuge in the EU because their country was too corrupt/the governing party too crazy, etc).
But the civic education being in the hands of our national governments is an important point.
@Veza85UE , I think 'Dave Keating'... is a good source. See also @DaveKeating .
I think if/when you take the Union and liken it to a confederation/federation, it's fairly easy to make a simple description of how things work. And I think such descriptions should be made. And that we should make such a description. You and I and other teammates.
I also quite understand the underlying causes and reasons why it's being obfuscated.
Still, I would...

@abolitionniste
