@aral I didn't ask whether we should have one or not, I asked if it exists. Because if it doesn't, I'm not sure what exactly you expect "the EU" to do about what appears to be a local matter? Sarcasm about the Single Market (which is amazing but incomplete and we should work harder at it) is puerile.
btw, I have no theoretical objections to obliterating national states, a 19th century invention no longer fit for purpose on our continent. But in practical terms, they have to agree to it first.
