Anglo journalists not coping very well with #ETIAS should come as no surprise. Most live with their heads so far up their own behinds, it's virtually impossible to disconnect them from their (largely) monolingual planet. I choose to sip their tears knowing they're paying the #EU its first ever proper tax. #fiscalunion ne se ferait pas d'un coup, etc, etc.
Not just journalists, obviously, though their reporting on #ETIAS with barely a mention of the equivalent US and upcoming UK systems is a good example of not just incompetence but also intense anglo navel-gazing and a reminder of what it means for the #EU to be the only geopolitical block on the planet for which media narratives are built almost exclusively by foreign journalists.
